hey my name is Celia and i am a senior at Roosevelt High School
My name is
Celia Gaye. I am a senior at Roosevelt High School. I am very happy and proud
of myself for making it this far, and I want to thank my family and teachers
for believing in me and for giving me their full support until this day. Now it’s
time for me to do my part in society. There are many ways I hope to make a
difference in the world, but one way I know I will make a difference is by becoming
a lawyer. I believe that lawyers can make a difference throughout society, by
giving hope to their clients, by standing, and fighting for them throughout the
entire time of their court appearances. Becoming a lawyer will give me the
opportunity to make a difference.

Aubrey Davidson
My name is Aubrey Davidson, and I am a senior at Theodore Roosevelt High School. I hope to one day become a high school English teacher, and have the chance to coach a speech and debate team. Through this job, I hope to be able to teach people that they have the voice and the power to speak up and share their stories and beliefs. I believe that this is an important opportunity for high school students to have available, and helps students to find a place in which they fit within high school. The National Forensics League opens doors for students and allows them to expand their abilities with performing arts. It helps many students foresee of career path for their future. As well as helping them with their high school education. Plus, a couple of trophies never hurt anyone. I believe that the National Forensics League is an important option open for students, and I would like to give back to the activity what it has given me.

allie calder
My name is Allie Calder. I am currently graduating this year as a junior at Roosevelt High School. I think that I can make a difference in this world by volunteering for people in need, and not expecting pay. In that case the cycle would be stopped on the countries loosing money. I would go to countries or even just cities near by that aren't as fortunate as I am, and helping them in anyway they need. Helping to build houses, medical reasons, teaching English would benefit them tremendously.

My name is Najma Salah. I am a senior at Roosevelt High School. There are many ways to make a difference in this world to be a better place. My way of making a difference in this world is to become a Nurse. I believe Nurses help people in many effective ways. Nurses help individual patients feel better and make them feel comfortable in the hospital while they are sick or in pain. Nurses also communicate with patients to make them feel like home while they are going through their treatments and health improvement. Being a Nurse and seeing patients I worked with smiling and showing good improvements, that to me is a big accomplishment and a difference in this world.

Madison Finney
My name is Madison Finney, I'm 17 years old and am ecstatic to see what my future holds. I will be attending Iowa State University next fall to study Marketing. Whether I am working for someone else or at my own business for the rest of my life, I want to work for a greater cause than to just make a profit. I am starting a for-profit business this summer called 'Madison's Square Gardens.' I've slowly been working on the website, but when summer starts I can really get it ready to launch and start promoting it. It will be an online store to purchase keepsake boxes that are full of seeds and garden care essentials, and for every box I sell I will give a box of garden supplies and seeds to a special education classroom. Horticulture is one of the largest employers of special needs individuals, knowing that maybe one of my boxes will inspire and empower a special needs child in their younger years to know that they are talented and have marketable skills is what drives me to succeed with Madison's Square Gardens. My brother is Autistic, and this is what motivates me.

My name is Krista Busick. I am a senior at Roosevelt High School. There are many ways I hope to make a difference in the world, but one way is with photography. I believe that one way problems can be solved is by having non profit organizations setting up art auctions to save up money for charity's around the world that help peolple in need. I want to use my art to show people what lies behind the mask of the horrors that happen in the world, I want to show the truth and use it to raise money to give to the people that need it the most, for thos who are suffering. I feel if I do this, even though it may be a small difference; I think it will help.
